A Photographer’s Dream
As a child, my father photographed everything and everyone! Although it annoyed my mother, he taught me to cherish special moments. One of my dreams was to work traveling the World for National Geographic.
When I settled in Historical Cowichan Bay in the diverse Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island in 2016, I invested in my first camera, a Cannon EOS Rebel SL2 DSLR 24.2 Megapixel, and a DJI Mini 4 Pro Drone to sharply capture the beauty of Canada’s West Coast.
My limousine business provided me with opportunities to explore the area and deepened my appreciation for the region. I honed in on noticing serene nature, the untamed expressions of wildlife, and the spirit of diverse cultures and geography.
The lifestyle here centers around and celebrates being in and being connected to our planet. If you’re a local, perhaps you will witness something new, or discover a new perspective. For visitors, I hope my artwork sparks a sense of inspiration, awe, and freedom.
Personally, photography connects my Métis roots and empowers my joy of storytelling through an artistic lens and perspective.
